Welcome to Savannah Fertilizer Services Ltd (SFSL).
We are a bulk blending Fertilizer Company established to produce compound NPK fertilizers by evenly mixing multiple chemical granules in formulated proportion.
Savannah Fertilizer Services is limited liability Company duly incorporated in the year 2018 under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with Registration Number RC 1476257.
Our Company is located at Kontagora, Niger State. Our factory site covers over 10000m2 of land area and this is in addition to the 8000m2 land area accommodating our administrative building and 3 raw materials stock warehouses (each covering 375m2 floor area). Furthermore, our factory is equipped with a digital weigh bridge for accurate loaded trucks weighing on site.
Our Company is registered with the Farm Inputs Support Services Department of the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with certificate number FISS000054BLD (valid till April 2026). Our various NPK fertilizer blends are all duly registered and certified by the Standard Organisation of Nigeria with MANCAP certification valid till March 2026. Furthermore, we are an active member of the Fertilizer Producers & Suppliers Association of Nigeria (FEPSAN) since 2019.
At Savannah Fertilizers Services Ltd, we have over 30 permanently employed skilled personnel from diverse professional background as well as numerous other categories of workforces engaged on a contractual basis.
We produce over 60000 metric tons of various blends of high quality granulated NPK fertilizers annually; and this corresponds to an estimated gross turnover of over 40 billion Naira per annum.
What we do
We produce all blend of N-P-K fertilizer (with and without micro nutrient supplementation). Our installed production capacity is about 20 truckload of NPK blend per day (depending on input raw materials quality standard and targeted blend formulation). Further, we do specialised N-P-K fertilizer blending with micro-nutrients addition e.g. N-P-K (20:10:10)+n (where n = Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium etc.).
For quality assurance compliance, we intermittently take our products sample to Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR) Zaria for testing. This is to ensure that our desired N-P-K blending ratio is absolute and guaranteed.
OUR MARKET:
Our business model is hinged on the ever increasing market demand for chemical fertilizer to support food production in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa at large. Therefore, our target market includes; farmers’ cooperatives, individual large scale farmers, Government agencies, NGO’s, Agro- dealers among others.
